Unlike all others on the market, the RPM Cat Bypass Pipe features a large, smooth inner transition to deliver maximum, unrestricted airflow—measuring a true 2.5" ALL THE WAY THROUGH!
The stock header, and even most aftermarket options, start at 2.5" but severely choke exhaust flow by tapering down to a restrictive 2" right before the muffler. We completely eliminated that bottleneck. To accommodate this massive increase in airflow, our mid-pipe includes a custom replacement gasket designed specifically for the new, larger 2.5" opening.
Crafted from 100% TIG-welded stainless steel, this X3 cat bypass frees up absolute maximum horsepower while substantially lowering the radiant heat coming off your exhaust system. Any restriction—especially the bulky stock catalytic converter located right after the turbo—directly robs your machine of power. By bolting on the RPM Cat Bypass, you will net an impressive 6-7 wheel horsepower on the stock tune alone! Best of all, tuning is NOT required for this mid-pipe upgrade.
Installation is incredibly straightforward. The pipe utilizes all OEM-style brackets and mounts, meaning your factory heat shields can be perfectly reused. It connects directly to the OEM muffler, any RPM X3 Slip-On Muffler, or any aftermarket muffler that utilizes a stock-style header with ZERO modifications required!

Make sure you tighten the V clamp at the turbo enough. Also get the new RPM v clamp and gasket! Sounds great!!
Quality build, welds are great. The sound is deeper but not louder. Throttle response is better and I feel a little more power. Temperature drop is noticiable. I love it!
Cat Delete for Can Am X3 was well designed. The factory Cat is much heavier than this. It was a little more time consuming to take off and install than I thought it would be. Order the new clamp. Don't forget the thin spacer between Cat and turbo.
I first Purchased the Sport Exhaust. I was afraid the cat delete would make the engine light come on. After talking with customer support and confirming that the engine light would not come on, I was then sold. Looks and sounds amazing. I would recommend the spring tool. When I did the muffler it was difficult. When I did the cat delete I ordered the spring tool and it sure made it easier.

Noticeable difference in temperature.
I went for a 2 minute hard run and the cat was glowing red afterwards.
After the cat delete install. No issues and no glowing parts for the same run.
Definitely worth adding the HD clamp.

Great fit and finish! Pipe is perfectly built with great welds and bolts right up. Flows so much better, and gives it a little deeper tone with factory muffler. Throttle is noticeably more responsive out of the hole. Noticed my engine temperature was running about 10 degrees cooler as well. Would recommend the big mouth mid pipe for sure! Can’t beat the price for such a quality cat delete pipe.
Sounds great and you can really hear the turbo spool up with out it being to loud. Highly recommend for someone who want a little more than a stock sound.

The fit up was great with the sport exhaust it also sounds amazing. I also love how well it's made the welds are top notch. I also like how the exhaust mount are gussied and welded out. All and all I'm very pleased with all of the RPM products that I've purchased.
