This hardware kit allows you to remove just the small, restrictive portion of the heat shield surrounding the factory clamp. Why is this a game-changer? It gives you significantly more working room and allows you to easily remove your mid-pipe with the turbo shields still on! While not strictly required, this kit is included because it makes installing the HD clamp drastically easier, especially when running an RPM Heat Blanket on any RPM Mid-Pipe.
