Designed to set a new benchmark in durability and airflow performance, this intake tube blends race-proven engineering with unmatched engine protection. While other aftermarket solutions compromise engine longevity by eliminating the factory airbox, the BIG FATTY is engineered specifically to retain the high-efficiency OEM Donaldson air filter—the absolute best line of defense against harmful dirt and silt.
Beginning at the airbox connection, the tube utilizes factory Oetiker clamps and features port-matched internal dimensions that eliminate air turbulence. Moving up, the intake line is swept further away from hot intercooler end tanks to prevent thermal heat soak and keep intake air temperatures (IATs) low. Where it meets the bed intake area, a massively enlarged venturi ring accelerates intake velocity while its downward-angled design blocks roost, dust, and sand from entering. Rigorously torture-tested in the brutal silt and heat of Baja, this heavy-duty 5-ply, wire-reinforced silicone hose is virtually impossible to collapse under high vacuum.
To deliver the ultimate filtration defense, the kit includes our stainless steel hexagonal Debris Cage to block sticks, mud, and roost, along with a water-repellent hydrophobic RPM Pre-Filter to stop fine particles and moisture before they ever reach your filter element.
