Custom-engineered specifically for the filter featured in our RPM SXS Can-Am Maverick R Carbon Fiber Intake, this heavy-duty pre-filter utilizes RPM’s proprietary silicone-treated Micro Screen material to form an impenetrable outer shield against fine trail debris and moisture.
Crafted with precise, uniform micron-sized openings, this hydrophobic (water-repellent) barrier stops fine dirt, sand, clay, and splash water down to .005” in diameter before it ever reaches your main filter element. The silicone-impregnated micro-mesh creates a slick, water-beading barrier while maintaining maximum CFM airflow, ensuring your high-output Maverick R breathes free without loss of throttle response. It slides snugly over your filter element in seconds, making cleaning between rides as easy as taking it off, tapping off loose debris, and putting it right back to work!
