If you're looking to drop the sound decibels of your RPM muffler here is what you need! This is a high flowing perforated quiet core insert that will fit directly into your muffler. This does require the drilling of a small hole to bolt the quiet core in place. Hardware is included! These are for RPM Mufflers only.
So I purchased a RPM cat back exhaust for my 2023 Can Am Max X RS RR and had it installed by a local UTV shop here in Southern Utah. The RPM cat back exhaust has a great sound to it but it is deafening loud. After my first day’s ride with the new exhaust I had a headache and I swear I lost some hearing. Just to further clarify, yes I did have my radio headset sets on the whole ride.
So I reached out to RPM and asked them if I could return the exhaust for something that was not so deafening. I was informed No Returns on exhaust systems. However they suggested trying this silencer cone. So I purchased the cone and installed it myself. The cone fits perfectly and still allows space for the stock spark arrester and factory exhaust tip. It did bring the decibels down a little bit but it still is loud. Honestly I would not buy another RPM exhaust or recommend one. They sound good but are just way too loud. It’s almost like running a straight pipe. Now my wife will not ride with me because she says it hurts her ears. Haven’t had any passengers in the car yet but if it’s still really loud in the front seats I can only imagine how uncomfortably loud it is in the back. My suggestion to all who read this is ride in numerous other side by sides until you find the acceptable loudness of an after market exhaust. I didn’t do this and my hearing is paying for my mistake. If you want a really loud (deafening exhaust) buy this. But if you don’t, shop around. Especially since RPM will not allow you to return their exhaust products. Sorry RPM but you solicited this review and here is an honest review.

Baffle made the rpm exhaust "muffler delete" a little more quite. Although the baffle is way to big for the exhaust for my 2023 can am x3 and we had to force it in with a 2x4 and hammer to not damage anything. Wish i were able to remove if needed but to late now.
