The X3 platform's absolute best performing, highest flowing, and least restrictive intake system! Methodically engineered in-house, the RPM SXS Carbon Fiber Intake System delivers maximum airflow at drastically higher air speeds—capable of flowing well in excess of 500+ HP.
Built to absolute perfection from twill-weave carbon fiber with completely smooth internal transitions through the entire runner length, this intake features a massive 3.75" inlet paired to our port-matched silicone for undisrupted intake velocity directly into the turbo charger. The kit includes dual silicone couplers to accommodate both factory turbos and high-output 60mm aftermarket turbos. For riders looking to maintain engine breathing flexibility, an optional add-on recirculating silicone adapter (available in 45mm OEM or 60mm big-turbo sizes) is available to seamlessly plumb the factory PCV system or a recirculating catch can.
The intake tube isolates cleanly into the factory intake system using the supplied isolator, fits neatly under the factory plastic cover, and pairs with an industry-leading S&B Dry Extendable Filter and RPM Hydrophobic Pre-Filter to repel water, sand, and fine dust. Complete with clutch intake filtration trim to protect your CVT system, this is the ultimate intake upgrade for everything from trail rigs to aggressive dune and drag cars.

Crankcase Catch Can Requirement: Requires the use of an aftermarket crankcase catch can system OR the installation of our optional Recirculating Silicone Intake Adapter (grab one under add-on products) to handle engine crankcase ventilation. Grab your RPM Catch Can here!
Airbox Modification Required: Requires enlarging the factory airbox hole to 4.25". Every kit includes an RPM drill jig template to make drilling fast and accurate using a standard 4.25" hole saw bit (hole saw bit not included, but can be found under add-on products)

The engineering behind this product is absolutely spot-on. If you’re on the fence—just pull the trigger! It instantly woke up my X3 with noticeably more torque and overall power, especially with the cover off.
My only concern is how the clutches will stay cooled since the foam blocks some airflow, and I’m also curious how the foam handles getting wet in the rain.
Aside from that, shipping was incredibly fast, the price is unbeatable, and the performance gains are real. RPM for the win!
Install wasn’t terrible, next time would be easy now that I know what not to take off! Not sure how much HP I gained but def did! Noticeably more responsive! Another WIN for RPM and me!

This intake is sweet! Great quality, arived quickly and install was straightforward. I have an evo dynamite big turbo kit on my machine and it sounds awesome now!
Sounds nice a throaty to the turbo. There is no loss of air to the engine now.... Have not gone on a ride yet.. but i think there will be a big difference in resposne.
The RPM SxS carbon fiber intake is an awesome upgrade. The quality is top-notch, it looks amazing under the hood, and you can definitely feel the improved throttle response. Fitment was solid and it really helps the X3 breathe better. Highly recommend it if you want both performance and a clean carbon look.
I’m a big fan of RPM after this. It was my first purchase and not only is the quality of the parts insane but their pricing can’t be beat IMO… to top it off everything was shipped and arrived right away. Incredibly happy, feel blessed to have stumbled onto them and plan on purchasing much more.
