When hammering through dunes, desert heat, or technical trails, the stock intercooler fan quickly heat-soaks, causing the engine ECU to pull power to protect itself.

This Stage 1 upgrade replaces the restrictive stock setup with a massive 10-inch, 10-blade high-output brushless fan delivering up to 1250 CFM of airflow—roughly a 20% increase in airflow over the factory 9-inch brushed fan. Despite the huge jump in cooling volume, the advanced brushless motor draws only 6 amps at 13.5V, offering 15% better electrical efficiency to reduce strain on your stator and battery. An integrated soft-ramp power supply starts the fan at just 1 amp to completely eliminate harsh amperage spikes on your electrical system.

To ensure maximum thermal transfer, RPM engineered a custom aluminum shroud lined with premium EPDM foam seals. While the factory shroud leaks air around the edges and pulls hot engine bay air, the RPM shroud forms a 100% airtight seal to force all intake air directly through the intercooler core. As a bonus, the massive volume of high-velocity discharge air is directed across the top of the engine block to help lower overall engine operating temperatures.
