Maverick R Radiator And Intercooler Fan Override Kit

Take complete control over your Maverick R's cooling capacity with the RPM SXS Intercooler & Rear Radiator Fan Override Kit! Equipped with a massive dual-fan intercooler setup plus a dedicated dual-fan rear radiator mounted directly above the exhaust, the Maverick R generates intense heat—especially under heavy boost, dune riding, or tight technical trails. This override system allows you to manually activate either or both fan assemblies on demand to force continuous airflow across the heat exchangers, drastically reducing coolant temperatures, intake air temperatures (IATs), and rear chassis heat radiation.

Engineered with total flexibility in mind, the kit is available for individual fan control or as a complete dual system. When purchasing the combined kit, RPM includes individual dash switches plus a 3rd master toggle switch and wiring harness, allowing you to power both the intercooler and radiator fans simultaneously with a single switch, or operate them independently as needed. Safety is built right in: all factory ECU activation thresholds remain 100% active, meaning if your manual switches are turned off, the fans will still cycle automatically as governed by the stock computer. Complete with OEM-style connectors, orange backlit dash switches to match factory lighting, and direct plug-and-play wiring for the stock busbar, installation is fast and hassle-free.

Awesome wiring harnesses. Super easy install. Two things to note while following the instructions: If you want to run 2 separate switches for both sets of fans, you will still rewire your red leads to source power from switched and constant power as instructed, but you do not necessarily have to consolidate the switches into one. So you have both options. One switch or two. Also note, if runing them on independent switches, you'll notice that the intercooler fans are much louder than the radiator fans. This initially made me think there was a problem. Turns out this is actually normal due to the different size and pitch of the fan blades. All good!
