Crafted from RPM’s proprietary silicone-impregnated Micron Screen material, this durable micro-mesh fabric features uniform micron-sized openings designed to block abrasive dirt, dust, and clay particles as small as .005” in diameter. The specialized hydrophobic treatment creates a slick, water-repellent barrier that causes water drops and mud splatters to roll right off rather than soaking into the underlying filter media—all while maintaining free-flowing airflow with zero restriction to engine performance.
