X3 INTERCOOLER FAN OVERRIDE PLUG & PLAY SWITCH AND HARNESS KIT
This is a fail proof, plug & play kit for the X3's that give YOU full control of your Intercooler fan. The factory fan for the 120hp models will not turn on at all, the 154+hp models ONLY turn on under 80% load. This kit allows the IAT's to be lowered by maintaining cool air passing the through the intercooler even at cruising speeds. Cooler IAT's = MORE POWER!
*Required component for 120HP X3's doing a intercooler upgrade. The factory ECU will not turn on the fan!
*For already intercooled models this is an over ride that allows you to run your intercooler any time at the flip of a switch. Your factory intercooler settings will still activate the fan, however this allows you to turn it on even sooner!

I really appreciate items that just feel high quality from the moment you touch them. While I didn’t use the rocker switch portion of this harness since I have an Auxbeam switch panel i ran this to, the rest of the harness I was easily able to install and has worked perfectly.

Wiring and switch quality were excellent. Instructions were adequate, as it's a pretty simple install. Pictures may help the people who are unfamiliar with wiring and the bus bars in the Can Am X3.

Works GREAT and installed in a flash.... my ONLY complaint is that the wires were a bit short that connect to the bus bar.... this means you HAVE to install the relay right next to the bus bar. 6-8 more inches would have helped me tuck it away in a better spot

Works great! Keeps the engine temps down around 10 degrees cooler I noticed. Only problem I had was the cable that runs back to the fan is almost too short for the x3 max. It reaches, but I had to reroute a couple times to get enough length to reach the fan plug. It would definitely be a plus if they added an extra foot of cable for the 4 seaters. 2 seat should have plenty of wire to get around. Other than that, it does what it’s supposed to and have no issues.
