Polaris XPEDITION XP & ADV Sport Muffler
RPM's Sport Muffler lineup includes this beautiful stainless steel tig welded muffler for the Polaris Xpeditions. This is a OEM Replacement slip on style muffler that retains all stock hardware and does not hinder bed use! This Sport Muffler provides a minimum 5HP gain on a stock machine & even more gains to be had on tuned machines. This is a huge power gainer for tuned machines and is required, in our opinion, for any machine doing a stage 1 or higher tune! This is such a great deep sounding muffler that won't leave your ears ringing at the end of the day. This muffler is constructed from 304 stainless and is fully tig welded. Wow! I was a little skeptical about the reviews on reducing the noise level inside the cab like they advertised. Wow! Big, big difference. Highly recommend the RPM slip-on muffler . I've made several upgrades this should have been the first upgrade! Thanks RPM for the great products!
Love the RPM exhaust, sound, look, and most of all price! RPM product management if you guys read this look into offering an exhaust with a 4in tip like I added. I’m sure people will buy this option too! Thanks RPM for an affordable option!
Fit really well, Cost me over 600.00 CDN by the time I got it, was expecting better finish quality, You can see grind marks and pretty poor looking welds compared to other mufflers. Quieter than stock at idle and low rpm and doesn’t resonate in the cab as much as the stock one. You have to drill your own hole for the stock spark arrestor.
It looks way better than the OE muffler but way louder.
It is not much louder inside the cabin but it got rid of the DRONE that i hated so much.
Over all I'm happy with this muffler.
Works better than expected. Not sure if its quieter or not, about the same.
But reduced back pressure allows clutch (EBS) to grab easier and actually hold on decents.
I wanted to get rid of the catalytic converter to cut down on the heat back there. And I wanted to keep my factory muffler intact for any warranty repairs.
It works great and the sound inside the cab is more pleasant.
I didn’t notice a lot of difference on the bottom end, but I saw a huge difference on the top end. I was able to go from 40 to 60 muck quicker. It seems to let the engine breathe a lot better. I just added the Gilomen clutch and ECU tune and it is amazing. I have whole new machine.
Muffler fits perfect and looks 10X better than the OEM. For those that have never looked, remove your factory heatshield and inspect the OEM muffler. Our last turbo RZR was the same (worse actually). You can see the amount of heat that builds in the stock muffler due to the "cat", as well as the huge restriction it imposes.
