The RPM KRX 1000 muffler looks as good as it performs! This extremely light weight catless muffler provides a deep, aggressive, sport exhaust tone. The RPM muffler is internally baffled acting as a built in spark arrestor. In addition to sounding amazing this muffler drastically cuts weight while still remaining durable due to its stainless steel, fully tig welded structure.

First startup, I was surprised just how loud it was. I read the reviews that said it was loud but didn’t think an internally baffled slip on could really be that loud. I was wrong, and almost immediately looked into returning it. But than after a few more rides, I became hooked on the sound, especially off power slow downs. It has a really loud growling sound that is addictive. My kids say it sounds like a monster truck. And I would agree.

The exhaust looks great and if you really want a loud rumble you will love it. It is honestly too loud for me. I wish there was some kind of a removeable quiet core insert that you could put in it for the times you it a little quieter in the cab.

Excellent exhaust tone, I really like the sound. Also much lighter than stock. It is a low rumble at idle and just the tone I wanted. However It is quite a bit louder than stock while accelerating and wish the db were lower, so some might find it too loud for the trails. At the dunes it wasn’t a problem but I was definitely one of the louder machines out there, if not the loudest. Depending on where I ride I may need to put my stock pipe back on.

I bought RPM’s bolt on exhaust for my KRX1000. Thanks to them for realizing while that machine isn’t for everyone, it’s still a very capable machine that was designed for a niche market. People who love rock crawling and trail riding. Most overlook this. RPM’s exhaust is exactly what I have been searching for. It’s just awesome! Beautiful to look at. The sound is like none others I have found. It is the final component in making the KRX a killer mean rig. I always hated the factory muffler. To big, to ugly, and sounds like a whiny stepchild. RPM’s sound mean, throaty, and is quite a bit louder. LOVE IT!!

This is just what my KRX needed ! This exhaust gives it the perfect tone! Nice deep and smooth tone not loud or raspy like others . The quality of the stainless and the tig welds are great ! Overall 10/10 recommend!
