X3 FULL 3" Chambered Q-Series Exhaust System
Introducing the quietest free flowing X3 exhaust on the market! This is a full 3" system that offers 3 styles of mid pipe the Standard 3", Resonated 3", and Resonated 3" E-valve versions that then mates to the 3" X3 Chambered Muffler! This is a mechanically chambered muffler that uses no packing for sound deadening. it instead uses a series of uniquely designed chambered and baffle plates to sound deaden while not restricting the needed CFM and exhaust velocity the X3 platforms calls for. At WOT our mufflers are designed to load the chambers with exhaust flow and overflow CFM to the pass through chambers which will allow exhaust to more freely flow through when needed. With the throttle closed and drastically less exhaust flow, the exhaust will then return to flowing through the baffles and mechanical chambers providing a deep quiet sound. Essentially this is a nearly stock sounding exhaust that has the capabilities to flow enough CFM for BIG tunes and turbo upgrades! The mufflers internals are fully welded to provide absolute most durable construction. The muffler utilizes the OEM tip or add one of RPM's unique colored tips! Using the stock tip allows the factory rear fascia to be used or remove it to expose the art work!

This is the best of both, nice quiet deep idle with moderate accelerated tone and loud and open with cutout. Looks awesome. I purchased the original full three inch exhaust, it's awesome, but it was louder than I wanted. Then this one came out shortly after, so I decided to go ahead and purchase this one and it's exactly what I wanted in every way. The deep tone at idle sounds amazing.

I am getting old and tired of a loud exhaust. lol Stock exhaust is probably still the most quiet, but this exhaust is a very close second, plus you get the power gains. Hard to tell because of the deeper throater tone that a full 3 inch exhaust has but so far I like it. It seems to be the loudest at idle to lower rpms then at higher rpms, which is kind a backwards when compared to stock system. I installed one of the v-bands incorrectly and after a very quick response from RPM, I was able to correct it. I only gave 4 stars because I have only put a few miles on it so far.

This setup is exactly what I was looking for. A deeper, mellow, and quiet tone but barks a bit when you are full throttle. Trickiest part of the install was replacing the mid-pipe brace tower. All parts are absolutely top notch quality and the welds look fantastic. All Hardware is included for the install. The new Turbo and midpipe v-band clamps look really beefy next to the stock BRP clamp. I don't have a exhaust temp guage but i can say without a doubt that its lowered my exhaust gas temps and the temps around the restrictive catalytic converter. Awesome product, Thanks RPM!
