When venting high-boost pressure to the atmosphere, your blow-off valve filter is exposed directly to roost, mud splatter, fine sand, and water spray. This dedicated slip-on pre-filter provides an essential primary barrier against the elements without choking off valve venting performance.

Crafted from RPM’s proprietary silicone-treated micron screen fabric, this pre-filter forms a durable hydrophobic shield that repels water droplets on contact while capturing fine particles down to .005" in diameter. Engineered specifically for dry-flow filtration media, it prevents wet clay, silt, and trail grit from packing into the primary filter pleats. This keeps your BOV piston moving freely, stops unmetered debris from being pulled back through the valve port during vacuum transitions, and maintains crisp, instant pressure relief.

Designed with a tailored elastic opening, it slips snugly over any standard 25mm (1-inch) breather filter element in seconds, staying firmly seated through severe desert chop, whoops, and high-pressure trail washdowns.

I ordered 2 and both arrived as expected. RPM is always on point with their products and buisness ethics. This prefilter is wrapped over the EVP bov and fits great. I used a zip tie to hold it on when I chop the throttle at 36 psi. Works great!! Thanks guys 👍
